New Ulm Precision Tool, Inc (NUPTI) has been designing and building Custom Machines since approximately 1975. The machines that we specialize in are the "Material Removal" Machines and Assembly Machines.

CUSTOM "MATERIAL REMOVAL" MACHINES
From the early years to present, NUPTI has designed and built custom "Material Removal" machines. These are the machines that drill, tap, mill, counterbore, countersink and other machining operations. The machines range from the rather simple single station machines to the more complex machines that use rotary index tables or in-line transfer systems. We can clamp the parts that are to be machined manually, hydraulically or pneumatically.

We design and/or build machines to suit your needs. If you want us to use certain brand names of components, we will honor your requests. Our designers will work closely with your company to design a machine for you that will be exactly what you have in mind.

During the build phase, NUPTI's shop will build from the designs that you have approved. You are welcome to visit your project as it is being machined and assembled in our shop. After we finish the building of your machine, we encourage you to give us parts so that we can machine your parts in your new machine while it is still in our plant. By doing this, we can "work the bugs out" and do the final adjustments on your machine. Once the machine is running parts to your satisfaction and to predetermined specifications, it will be shipped to your facility.

CUSTOM ASSEMBLY MACHINES
NUPTI also designs and/or builds Assembly Machines. Parts that can be assembled include, but are not limited to, plastics, metals, composites and fasteners. If you have an assembly of parts that you would like to have assembled, get in contact with us and we will be willing to discuss your needs and will quote on your project. As with "Material Removal" machines, we want to work closely with your company to solve its assembly problems.
